From july 2025 to the end of april 2024 I worked at this company. The company specializes in providing services to customers in skiing tourism. I developed, maintained and was in the end the teamlead of the Delphi and the MA backend systems. In the case of the MA system, I did a full rewrite in Elixir and wrote the CMS, API and the rest of it. So I got experiences with GPS tracking, PostGis, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, PostgreSQL. I wrote documentation and followed a TDD workflow when writing unit tests and integration tests for these systems. Other minor systems were written in Python, Clojure and NodeJS, so I got with them in touch too.

Also I lead interviews for new developers at the company and introduced them into the codebase and culture and helped shape in team meetings the architecture.

Creative Pragmatics GmbH

From june 2014 to the october 2024 I did while I studied philosophy at the university of vienna this part time job as a Ruby on Rails developer and wrote the frontend in EmberJS for a scrum based project management software. As the job ended, so did my possibility of studying philosophy. I got experience in writing frontend javascript applications and noticed that I did not prefer this style of web applications, where a heavy javascript application talks to a server over an API, this lead to re-implementing data objects in the server and the frontend and slowed the project down.

A1 Telekom Austria AG

From february 2011 to may 2014 I worked as a Ruby on Rails programmer part time while I studied philosophy at the A1 Telekom Austria AG through an agency. I supported a team in the operations department with a website, which provided internal services and supported the change management of the team. As the department got outsourced to india, so did my work there end.
